India and Qatar will jointly form an Energy Task Force


-Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was received by Qatar's Minister of Energy and Petroleum President K.S. Saad spoke to Sherida al-Kabi by telephone. -Katar is India's largest gas supplier. Under the long-term agreement, India imports 3 lakh tonnes of liquefied natural gas annually.

-Diplomatic relations between India and Qatar were established in the 19th century. When Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Ghani visited India in March 2015, cooperation was sought in a number of areas. India and Qatar have also agreed on repatriation.
