The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the list of players for the IPL-2021 auction. 

In which a total of 292 players are involved


The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the list of players for the IPL 2021 season auction. 

➡A total of 292 players will come up for auction. 

➡While 8 teams need a total of 61 players. 

➡The players will be auctioned on February 18 in Chennai. 

➡Eight IPL teams have returned 139 players this time. 

➡While 57 players have been released by his team. 

➡A total of Rs 196.6 crore will be at stake.

How many players will participate, 

292 players will compete for 61 vacancies. 

A total of 1114 cricketers had registered for the IPL 2021 auction. 


The franchise has since shortlisted 292 players to the final. 

A total of 11 players have a base price of Rs 2 crore, including two Indian players.

A maximum of 61 players at stake

➡All franchises want to meet their quota and will need a total of 61 players. 

➡If the franchise has 25 more ➡players in its squad, 61 players will be taken. 

➡Up to 22 of which can be foreign players.



The category of registered players is as follows.

➡Capped Indian (21 players)

Capped International (186 players)

➡Associate (27 players)

Uncapped Indian player who has played at least 1 IPL match- (50 players)

➡Foreign uncapped player who has played at least 1 IPL match- (2 players)

➡Uncapped Indian (743 players)

➡Uncapped International (68 players)
